Increase volume to the BMC network by facilitating outside referrals and educating internal and external stakeholders about the Transgender Service. Maintains and builds provider relationships with designated physician groups/providers, e.g., Primary Care, Fenway by ensuring that BMC providers meet the provider's high level of customer service standards. Facilitates physician-to-physician communication among BMC physicians, community health center providers and community- based physicians to ensure a timely response.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.

License to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required

Must have 5-7 years of clinical experience in a wide range of clinical areas, preferably with at least 1-2 years of work with LGBT patients

Clinical knowledge and experience necessary to ensure patients obtain appropriate medical services in a clinically appropriate time frame.

Ability to work independently to build the new program

Effective interpersonal skills to handle a high volume of calls from a diverse population in a professional manner.

Effective verbal communication skills to maintain and foster relationships with referring physicians and community health centers.
