Senior Financial Analyst (Strategy Implementation) Finance Full time\Days

Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the strategic planning function by providing analytic support to the implementation of new initiatives to carry out the business objectives for BMC. Responsible for developing financial models, evaluating initiative progress and reporting to senior management. This position will work with hospital and physician leadership, finance staff, clinical department administrators, and others to analyze operations and evaluate business opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required. Masters in Business or Public Health preferred.
Five to seven years professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, or planning function, preferably in a healthcare-related setting.
Ability to translate data into useful information and to communicate key findings and assumptions in concise fashion to senior management for decision making purposes.
Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
Advanced MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint skills. Experience with hospital claims data and/or SQL a plus.
Strong commitment to excellence and person and professional growth.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior interpersonal skills to effectively work and communicate with senior leaders in the organization.
Enjoy working on teams.
Desire to learn and grow within the organization.
Knowledge of health care finance and delivery systems preferred but not required.
